In the late 1920s, Berlin was the press capital of Europe. Three Jewish women writers made a name for themselves in its newspapers and magazines: Vicki Baum, Gabriele Tergit and Mascha Kaléko wrote with freedom – as women in a male-dominated world, as chroniclers of a city in the throes of change.
